How to make the most out of the TED Fellowship announcement

The TED Fellowship often marks a major milestone: it is not only a huge accomplishment but an introduction to a new broader audience for you and your work. Strategically sharing news of the Fellowship announcement on social media and with your communities and networks can be an important part of this. To help you make the most of this opportunity, we’ve asked our PR partner, Ben Kellogg, and social media partner, Teru Kuwayama, for their input on how to share the news in a way that is authentic, engaging, and in line with your mission.

Pitching your Book Workshop with Heather Schroder

Thanks for joining Heather Schroder's webinar 'So you Want to be a Published Author.' Now that you have a bit of background on the process of trying to write and publish your book, it's time to workshop your ideas! In this bonus follow-up session led by Heather, she will start by giving you a few examples of how an agent would typically assess your book pitches. You will then be paired up with another Fellow and put into breakout rooms where you will workshop each other's book ideas and/or book proposals. This session will be a chance to experience hands-on practice and give each other constructive feedback based on what you have learned! After your breakout rooms, we will come back together and share as a group.
