TED Fellows Program Code of Conduct
While participating in any TED events, community dialogue, meetings or community sites, in person or online, TED requires all TED Fellows to conduct themselves in a professional, collegial, respectful, tolerant and inclusive manner with the TED community. We strive to ensure that our community is safe and respectful at all times, free from harassment, discrimination, intolerance, disrespect or boorish behavior, bullying or otherwise inappropriate conduct in any form.
If TED is notified or informed that your conduct as a TED Fellow violates our code of conduct, TED reserves the right to investigate the circumstances in good faith, and to determine the outcome that is most suitable for the TED Fellows community as a whole based on the impact or severity of the concerns. If the investigation is not unfounded, and found to be credible, then TED may apply any of the following outcomes depending on the severity:
(i) a warning directly to the TED Fellow;
(ii) cancellation of your participation in TED Fellow’s organized events or presence on its community sites;
(iii) revocation of Fellow privileges, such as attendance to a virtual or live TED event;
(iv) the de-publication of your TED talk; and
(v) removal of your Fellows designation.
Any specific code of conduct issues that arise while at a TED event in person or virtually, or in any TED-run community spaces, gatherings or platforms, in person or online, may be reported via TED’s incident form.
TED Conferences Code of Conduct
In addition to the TED Fellows Program Code of Conduct, All TED Fellows and conference attendees agree to a code of conduct at TED.
